Service Commitment

FiXiT Computer Repair will provide and perform any computer service tasks, repairs and perform any necessary upgrades on your device that is requested from the customer and agreed upon by the staff. We aim to provide all of our customers with the best possible service that we can create for them. We will conduct our business in a transparent and honest way and never mislead or overcharge our customers.

FiXiT Computer Repair is a service and there will be times that we are unable to fix the issue that you present us with. When this is the case, we will talk with the customer about possible upgrades or replacement devices or parts. Some unrepairable issues include those that are caused by out of date software or hardware. In those situations, we will recommend replacing and installing new components to allow your computer to function properly.

Billing Terms

FiXiT Computer Repair will bill as it is stated on the order form. All service charges will be calculated to the minute. The minimum charge will be $40 plus an additional charge of $40 for each half-hour beyond the initial 30 minutes. The maximum charge will not exceed $240 without first speaking with the customer about it and having them agree to the additional charges. In many cases, we will not charge beyond 3 hours of repair costs, even if the time spent exceeds that amount.

For network installation and maintenance consulting, minimum charge is $80. Additional charge is $40 for each half-hour beyond the initial 30 minutes. The maximum charge will not exceed $340 without first speaking with the customer about it and having them agree to the additional charges.

Hardware is to be paid for at time of order. Payment for labor is due at completion, at time of service.

Liability

The services that we provide are aimed to attempt to improve, upgrade and fix the issues that exist. We are not liable for any issues that we fail to resolve completely. Your device, computer or system will not be harmed or damaged at any time. The goal of our company is to improve the technological workings of your computer and we will never intentionally harm it. In the unfortunate even that your data is compromised, you as the customer take full responsibility for this. It is the responsibility of the customer to backup all of their data before they bring it to us to have it repaired or replaced. Labor fees are for time spent regardless of outcome.

Our Guarantee

Hardware repair items fall under the manufacturer of the parts used. Software is covered up to 30 days. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their computer is working correctly within that window of time. If there are any issues that are discovered beyond this 30 day window, we can no longer be held responsible for correcting those issues.
